We promote innovation and best practice through high quality training.

We can provide training on site for organisations as well as other locations.  Jenny Dwyer is an experienced educator, having taught post graduate clinical training at Masters level, and in numerous workplace settings.  All our training is based on adult learning principles and utilises current research from neuroscience to promote learning.

·      EMDR Training

We provide accredited EMDR training and other workshops. Visit EMDR Academy Australia for further information and training dates

  • EMDR Basic training:

    • Innovative basic training

    • Includes essential curriculum to meet accreditation requirements

    • Delivered nine or in-person

    • Can be tailor made for organisations with a cohort of staff needing training

  • EMDR Refresher.

    • We have a range of options for undertaking refresher taining available online or in-person. It will suit:

      • For those who have completed EMDR training some time ago or who want a refresher to increase confidence.

      • Refresh the theoretical and practice components of EMDR therapy, highlight current applications and innovations, including with children.

  • Animal Assisted EMDR Therapy

    • We have developed a protocol for integrating a therapy dog with EMDR (Animal Assisted EMDR)

    • This workshop covers practice and theory of Animal Assisted Therapy, and details integration of AAT with each phase of EMDR therapy

  • R-TEP and G-TEP - EMDR interventions that can be used soon after a traumatic experience

    • We are accredited by Elan Shapiro, to provide his training in the Recent Traumatic Episode Protocol (R-TEP) and Group Traumatic Episode Protocol (G-TEP). During COVID-19 these were adapted for online delivery. We are committed to ensuring everyone who needs EMDR Early Intervention has access to it. ·      SUPERVISION AND LEADERSHIP

We have developed resources and workshops on leadership, reflective practice and supervision. We draw together a range of concepts including neuroscience, attachment theories and leadership, and help participants apply these in practical ways.  We regularly provide in-house supervision training for community services organisations and government departments.  We have developed supervision resources as well as co-authoring a highly-regarded manual on supervision for middle managers in child protection in Victoria.
